Armed Bank Robbery in Kentucky Leaves 2 Employees Dead

USA – An armed bank robbery in Kentucky on Thursday left 2 employees dead after a masked assailant shot them during the robbery, before freeing the scene.

Kentucky State Police said the suspect entered a US Bank branch on Chestnut Street in Berea on Thursday, fatally shooting two employees before fleeing the scene.

“We understand the citizens of Berea and in Madison County. They’re scared right now, and we’re scared for them,” Kentucky State Police Trooper Scottie Pennington said. “We want to do our best to find this person and bring him to justice.”

Authorities said it remains unclear whether the suspect stole anything or how he fled and urged residents to stay vigilant, lock their doors and report any suspicious activity.

“We don’t want this to lead to more victims,” Pennington said. “We hope he just turns himself in.”
