Russia Invited to G20 Summit in Miami 2026

RUSSIA – Russia has been invited to participate in the G20 summit in Miami 2026 scheduled for December, in the US state of Florida, according to local reports on Wednesday, citing a Russian official.

“There is an invitation to participate at the highest level,” Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin told reporters.

He added that it remains unclear who will represent Russia at the gathering, noting that a decision is expected closer to the date of the event.

The summit is set to be held in Miami, Florida on Dec. 14-15.

The G20 summit is an annual gathering of leaders from developed and developing economies to discuss the world’s most pressing challenges.
