American Strike on Alleged Narco-Trafficking Vessel in Eastern Pacific Kills 3
USA – Three people were killed in an American strike targeting an alleged narco-trafficking vessel in Eastern Pacific, according to the US Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) late Sunday.
The operation was carried out on April 26 under the direction of SOUTHCOM Commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan, the command said on the US social media company X’s platform.
It said Joint Task Force Southern Spear conducted a “lethal kinetic strike” on a vessel operated by designated terrorist organizations.
According to the statement, intelligence confirmed the vessel was moving along known narco-trafficking routes and was “engaged in narco-trafficking operations.”
“Three male narco-terrorists were killed during this action,” the command said.
It added that no US military personnel were harmed during the operation.
No further details were provided regarding the location, the identity of those involved, or the type of vessel targeted.
