POLAND – An unknown object fell and exploded in a cornfield in a Polish village early Wednesday according to local reports, causing window damages to nearby homes.

The unknown object fell near a village about 100 kilometers (62 miles) west of the Ukrainian border.

The explosion broke the windows of nearby houses but did not cause any injuries.

Investigators are working to determine the nature of the unidentified object, with police officers inspecting the site.
