KENYA – What we know about the unidentified dead body found in Busia county: An unidentified dead body was on Wednesday discovered by fishermen in Bundalang’i on the shoreline of Nalera in Bunyala sub-county.

According to the local police, the body was discovered by fishermen who reported the incident.

The body is said to have started to decompose and was taken to Port Victoria Hospital mortuary, with anyone who may have lost a relative urged to come forward.

Male Body Found in River in Nakuru

In another incident, a male body was discovered floating in River Ruiru in Nakuru county, after what the Kokwomoi Assistant Chief Richard Kiplangat said was from a drowning that had been reported to him earlier.

Local police officers who reported to the scene however discovered that the body had bruises on the face and head.

The deceased was identified as over 50 years old Jared Muiruri Kamau according to documents found in the pocket.

The body was later transported to Nakuru Municipal Annex Mortuary where it awaits an autopsy.
