147 Ukrainian Drones Targeting Russia Downed, Ukrainian Defense Industry Struck & More

RUSSIA – 147 Ukrainian drones targeting Russia downed overnight according to a statement by the Russian Ministry of Defense on Tuesday.

Among the areas where the drones were intercepted included Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk, Voronezh, Tver, Lipetsk, Oryol, Tambov, Tula, and Moscow regions.

The Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin confirmed that the Russian capital was targeted by two drones, both of which were downed before reaching their destinations. He added that emergency services are working at the sites where the drone debris fell.

Ukraine Military Industrial Complex in Kyiv Struck

The Russian forces launched a group strike targeting the Ukraine military industrial complex in Kyiv and Zaporozhye according to a statement by the Defense Ministry.

“Tonight, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out a group strike with high-precision air, land and sea-based weapons, as well as strike unmanned aerial vehicles, on military-industrial complex facilities of Ukraine in the Kyiv region and Zaporozhye. The goal of the strikes was achieved. All designated facilities were hit,” the statement read.

Ammunition and Material Depots of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Hit

The Russian forces announced that they’ve successfully targeted ammunition and material depots of the Ukrainian forces, destroyed 233 drones and 5 US-made JDAM bombs on Tuesday.

The forces also destroyed temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed forces units, nationalists and foreign mercenaries in 142 districts.

Air defense alert systems also intercepted and destroyed 147 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles over the territories of the Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk, Voronezh, Tver, Lipetsk, Oryol, Tambov, Tula regions and the Moscow region.
