Revealed: Ukraine Military Losses at Least 1.7 Million

UKRAINE – While Kyiv denies the figures, hackers leaked the data for the Ukraine military losses on Wednesday, August 20, which stands at over 1.7 million. Hacker groups KillNet, Palach Pro, User Sec, and Beregini are said to have been involved.

The hacker group KillNet confirmed to have breached the database for the Ukraine’s General Staff which they claimed contained information of over 1.7 million Ukrainian soldiers who were listed as dead or missing.

The group also provided media outlets with photographs of deceased servicemen, along with passports, military IDs, death certificates, and dog tags.

Ukraine refuted the figures, with the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine labeling the published figures as false but did not provide alternative official data on casualties.

Ukraine Losses by Year

  • 2022 – 118,500
  • 2023 – 405,400
  • 2024 – 595,000
  • 2025 – 621,000

The hackers claim to now possess terabytes of information on Ukraine’s military casualties, personal data of high-ranking officials from the Special Operations Forces (SSO) and the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR), along with detailed lists of countries supplying weapons to Ukraine.

Additionally, they have compiled records of all weapon transfers to Ukraine from 2022 to 2025.
