SINGAPORE – The Singapore general election 2025 polls are open and voters are casting their votes, with 48% having already cast their votes as of noon local time according to the Election Department.

Eligible Singaporean Voters 2025
The eligible Singaporean voters 2025 are 2,627,026 according to the Elections Department, with the already cast voters accounting for 1,261,449 in 1,240 polling stations islandwide.
206 candidates from 11 parties and 2 independents are vying for 92 seats in 32 constituencies.
The People’s Action Party (PAP), which is the ruling party already has 5 seats.
The polls opened at 8 am local time and will close at 8 pm.
The main opposition, Workers’ Party (WP) is contesting 26 seats while the ruling party is contesting all 92 seats, excluding the already 5 it has.
