AUSTRIA – A school shooting in Austria have claimed at least 10 lives, with the suspected shooter believed to be a student. The incident happened at BORG Dreierschutzengasse secondary school in Graz city, with the shooter later committing suicide by gunshot.
Graz Mayor, Elke Kahr, confirmed the shooting, adding that the dead included several students and one adult – including the shooter.
The police also confirmed the attack and said that they’ve secured the building and safely evacuated the teachers and students.
The building is under search by the police, with the members of public urged to avoid the area as police handle the situation to determine the motive.
