RUSSIA – The Russian forces continue to advance in various fronts according to the Russian Defense Ministry on Sunday while announcing the capture of Khoroshe in Dnepropetrovsk Oblast.
“As a result of offensive actions, units of the Vostok military group liberated the settlement of Khoroshe,” a ministry statement said.
Ukraine Loses Over 1K Servicemen in a Day
The Defense Ministry said that the “Center” group destroyed 460 Ukrainian servicemen in Donetsk.
“Units of the Center group of forces have advanced deep into the enemy’s defenses. Manpower and equipment of three mechanized, airborne, airborne assault, assault brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces , a marine brigade and a territorial defense brigade were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Rubezhnoye , Veseloye, Novonikolayevka, Artemovka, Krasnoarmeysk , Vladimirovka and Kutuzovka of the Donetsk People’s Republic,” the ministry said.
It added that Ukraine lost additional 200 servicemen in Zaporizhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
“The enemy lost up to 200 servicemen, four combat armored vehicles, eight cars and three artillery pieces, including two Western-made ones. A warehouse of materiel was destroyed,” it said.
In Kharkiv region, Ukraine lost at least 230 servicemen.
“The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 230 servicemen, five combat armored vehicles, including a US-made M113 armored personnel carrier , 24 vehicles, a multiple launch rocket system, and four field artillery guns, including two Western-made ones. Five electronic warfare stations, a counter-battery warfare station, and seven ammunition depots were destroyed,” the ministry reported.
In Sumy Oblast, over 175 Ukrainian servicemen were eliminated.
“The enemy lost more than 175 servicemen, two combat armored vehicles, 13 cars, two field artillery guns and three electronic warfare stations. Two warehouses of materiel were destroyed,” said the ministry.
In Kherson region, Ukraine lost 60 servicemen.
“The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 60 servicemen, ten vehicles, a field artillery gun and seven electronic warfare stations. An ammunition depot and a supply depot were destroyed,” the ministry added.
