KENYA – 2 road accidents in Kenya today, Sunday, have left at least 5 people dead as this week have seen almost a near-daily crash.
4 people died in a road crash along Kitui-Kibwezi road in Makueni county, while another one was left in critical condition almost midnight according to local reports.
From the local police, 3 people died on the spot while the other one died in hospital.
The cause of the accident according to the police was over-speeding which ended up with the driver losing control and the vehicle rolled over.
Among the dead is a 10 year old child.
Maai Mahiu Road Accident Kills 2
In a separate incident, 2 people died in a Maai Mahiu road accident after a lorry lost control, hit 2 cars before ramming on an Ena Coach bus, resulting the bus to veer off the road and overturn.
The accident occurred along Nairobi-Narok highway.
Among the dead were a minor and a woman.
Other passengers in the bus were treated in local hospitals and discharged.
