YEMEN – IDF had issued an evacuation order for all Yemenis near Sana’a International Airport ahead of the planned Israeli airstrikes on Yemen capital Sana’a. Using a map, Israeli Army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said on X: “To all those present in the area of Sana’a International Airport, as shown in the attached map.”

“We urge you to evacuate the airport area – Sana’a International Airport – immediately, and to warn everyone around you to do the same without delay,” he continued.
Hinting at an impending strike, Adraee warned that failure to heed the warning “puts you in danger.”
This comes after the Houthi Group launched a missile at Ben Gurion Airport in Israel on Sunday.
The United States had launched retaliatory strikes across Northern Yemen and capital Sana’a, and Israel vowed to respond with its first airstrikes on Monday targeting Hodeidah Port.
Israel Bombs Sanaa Airport
Later in the day, the IDF said it had made airstrikes across Yemen including Sanaa airport.
In a statement, the Israeli army said that “a short while ago, fighter jets struck and dismantled Houthi terrorist infrastructure at the main airport in Sanaa, fully disabling the airport.”
“The strike was carried out in response to the attack launched by the Houthi terrorist regime against Ben Gurion Airport. Flight runways, aircraft, and infrastructure at the airport were struck,” the statement added.
