ECUADOR – At least 7 people were killed in a mass shooting in Ecuador when armed gunmen opened fire in a pool hall on Sunday.

According to local reports, several gunmen wearing black masks opened fire at the entrance of the pool hall in the city of Santo Domingo, about 150 kilometers (93 miles) west of the capital, Quito.

Police are investigating the incident and searching for suspects, with preliminary findings indicating that the killings may be connected to organized crime in the region.
