INDONESIA – At least 8 people were killed and 82 others went missing following a landslide in West Java, Indonesia on Saturday.
The landslide impacted a village in the West Bandung regency, Cisarua Police Chief AY Yogaswara said, according to state-run news agency Antara.
Dozens of houses were reportedly buried under the landslide.
A search and rescue team is searching for the missing in the area, which has difficult terrain, with a weather forecast of possible moderate to very heavy rain for days.
