SOUTH AFRICA – At least 5 people lost their lives on Saturday in Kwazulu-Natal (KZN) along N2, between Amatikulu and Dokodweni, when a truck and a light motor vehicle collided head-on.

Among the dead were 3 men and 2 women who were said to have been in the same vehicle.

Rise in Road Accidents

According to local reports, at least 30 people died through road accidents in the first week of August alone.

The Saturday accident occurs just 2 days after another accident happened in Limpopo that claimed 9 lives.
