Jaish al-Adl Terrorist Group Attacks Iran’s Judiciary Building, Kills 5

IRAN – The Jaish al-Adl terrorist group on Saturday morning targeted Iran’s judiciary building in Zohedan killing at least 5, and injuring 13 others.

According to local reports, armed individuals opened fire on the judiciary complex just moments before emergency responders and security forces arrived at the scene.

The terrorist attack, claimed by the so-called Jaish al-Adl group, began with gunfire directed at the courthouse and later expanded indiscriminately to target civilians in the vicinity according to Mehr News Agency.

The agency quoted an informed source reporting that some citizens and their property were also harmed during the assault.

Initial reports confirm that three of the attackers were killed by security forces, it added.

Emergency responders and security units swiftly surrounded the building and secured the area. The Iranian authorities have launched a full investigation into the attack, and the identities of the victims are yet to be officially released.

Zahedan, the capital of the Sistan and Baluchestan province, has previously witnessed unrest and sporadic violence attributed to armed groups operating near the borders with Pakistan and Afghanistan.
