PALESTINE – Fresh round of Israeli airstrikes on Gaza Strip on Friday left at least 18 Palestinians dead and others injured according to medics.
Eyewitnesses said that Israeli forces bombed gatherings of Palestinian civilians in the north and central areas of the enclave.
Five Palestinians were killed, including three in a drone strike southwest of Khan Younis and two while waiting for aid north of Rafah in southern Gaza.
In eastern Gaza City, one Palestinian was killed when a drone targeted civilians in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood.
Two Palestinians were killed and 13 injured in an airstrike targeting civilians near the Al-Ittisalat junction in the Al-Rimal neighborhood, Gaza City.
In central Gaza, three Palestinians were shot dead by Israeli forces while waiting for aid near the Netzarim corridor.
In another attack, the Israeli army killed three Palestinians in an airstrike near the Kissufim crossing, while a fourth was killed in a strike on the Al-Matahin junction, Deir al-Balah.
