LEBANON – An Israeli air strike in Lebanon killed one person when a vehicle was targeted by a drone strike in southern Lebanon.

In a statement, the Lebanese health ministry confirmed the victim was inside a van on the Sidon-Tyre highway when the drone attack occurred.

The Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) reported that emergency teams recovered the body from the destroyed vehicle and transported it to a nearby hospital.

The identity of the deceased has not yet been released.
