Iran War News: Loud Explosions Reported in Israel

ISRAEL – These are the latest Iran war news from Israel: Loud explosions were heard early Sunday in Tel Aviv and occupied East Jerusalem after missile attacks from Iran.

Residents in East Jerusalem first received phone alerts warning of the incoming strikes, before explosions were seen in the sky.

Israeli media reported similar blasts in Tel Aviv.

The army’s Home Front Command said the threat passed within minutes.

Emergency services reported no serious injuries, with only minor cases among those rushing to shelters.

Fires Break Out in Central Israel

Fires broke out in several cities in central Israel after debris from an Iranian missile attack fell in the area, media reports said Sunday.

Israel’s Channel 12 reported rescue teams were dispatched to Holon, Rishon Lezion and Bnei Brak.

Most of the missiles were intercepted, but fragments were reported to have fallen in central Israel, according to the report.

Israel’s emergency medical service, Magen David Adom, said on US social media X that initial reports indicated no injuries from the missile strike.

Earlier the day, the Israeli military said it detected new missile launches from Iran, with defense systems working to intercept the projectiles.

Explosions Heard in West Bank

Loud explosions were heard in the central and northern West Bank early Sunday after a missile barrage from Iran.

No additional details were available, and no casualties have been reported.

Earlier Saturday explosions were heard in Jerusalem and the West Bank, and missile fragments fell in the Palestinian area of Masafer Yatta after Iranian missiles were intercepted, witnesses told Anadolu.

It comes amid escalating regional tensions, which have flared since Israel and the US launched joint attacks against Iran on Feb. 28, killing more than 1,300 people, including then-Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Iran has retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, along with Jordan, Iraq and Gulf countries, which it says are targeting “US military assets.”
