IRAN – Mohsen Rezaei, a member of Iran’s Expediency Discernment Council and former commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) issued a warning to the US after Donald Trump‘s threats of attacking Iranian critical infrastructure, saying that if such an attack would occur, the American forces in the region will be left paralyzed then sunk.

“If they make this mistake, we will paralyze them and drown them in the Persian Gulf,” Rezaei said in a Tuesday interview.

“They should know that the last lifelines for America are expiring, and their rational figures have little time left to save America from this quagmire,” he added.

On ending the conflict, he said that the war won’t end until all sanctions are lifted, damages compensated and legally binding international guarantees provided to ensure no future attacks on Iran, adding that there will be no ceasefire.

He stated that US and Israel have had an enmity with Iran for over 47 years, helped Iraqi’s Saddam Hussein wage war on Iran, and even today continue to hatch plots and conspiracies against the Islamic Republic.

He added that Trump was tricked by Israel as it seeks its “Greater Israel” ambitions from the Nile to the Euphrates, saying that the Israeli regime advocates for international tyranny and silencing of opponents at every level.

“Under Bush, America dominated Israel, but today Trump follows Israel like a slave,” Rezaei stated.

He warned that the US-Israeli movement have resulted to the rise of racism and international despotism that seeks global domination, cautioning the Arab countries that this scheme isn’t limited to Iran, but the entire region.

“If the Arab governments knew what their (US-Israeli movement) sinister plan for the region is, they would be fighting alongside us today,” Rezaei added.
