Gaza Famine Kills 4 as Israeli Attacks Kill 27

PALESTINE – Two children are among 4 Palestinians who died in last 24 hours from starvation and malnutrition as Gaza famine continue amid Israeli blockade on the strip.

The Health Ministry said the new fatalities brought the famine-related deaths since October 2023 to 317, including 121 children.

The new deaths came as Gaza’s Government Media Office warned that aid deliveries remain far below urgent needs.

It said only 467 trucks entered the enclave over the past five days out of 3,000 planned, with most of the 2,654 trucks that arrived in the past month looted “with Israeli complicity.”

At Least 27 Killed by Israeli Attacks

At least 27 people were killed in fresh Israeli strikes across the war-torn Gaza Strip on Thursday, according to medics.

4 Palestinians were killed and several others wounded in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a house in western Gaza City.

Medical sources told Anadolu that one civilian was killed and others were injured when Israeli warplanes struck a residential apartment in the Al-Rimal neighborhood in western Gaza City.

Several others were wounded in Israeli strikes that targeted tents sheltering displaced Palestinians in the Shati refugee camp in northern Gaza.

Seven people, including two children, were killed in a strike targeting a civilian gathering in the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, Al-Awda Hospital said in a statement. A Palestinian woman and her child were also killed in a strike on the same camp.

The Israeli army also opened fire on civilians waiting for aid near the Netzarim Corridor in central Gaza, killing two people.

Israeli drones hit central Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, killing one person and injuring a child in a refugee tent.

Another Palestinian was killed, and two others were injured by Israeli army fire while waiting for aid delivery in Rafah, southern Gaza.

Israel has killed nearly 63,000 Palestinians in Gaza since October 2023. The military campaign has devastated the enclave, which is facing famine.
