USA – An explosion at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Biscailuz Training Center on Friday have left at least 3 deputies dead according to local reports.
The cause of the blast was not immediately clear as authorities continue to investigate, but the Times reported that it occurred just before 7.30 am local time (1430 GMT).
A source told the L.A. Times newspaper that it took place as a bomb squad was moving explosives.
The facility is home to the Sheriff’s special enforcement bureau.
