SOUTH KOREA – Two people were killed and 18 others sustained injuries in a South Korea car accident today, Thursday Nov. 13.
According to officials, a light truck crashed into a market in Bucheon and ploughed 150 meters (164 yards) along a passageway lined with stalls before coming to a halt.
A firefighter personnel said that the car first reversed for 28 meters before accelerating towards the outdoor market.
The driver in his 60s was taken into custody for questioning.
Among the dead are two women in their 70s.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
