BREAKING: VATICAN – The Vatican has announced that Pope Francis is dead at 88.

“Dear brothers and sisters, it is with profound sadness I must announce the death of our Holy Father Francis,” Cardinal Kevin Farrell announced on the Vatican’s TV channel.
He was the first Latin American to be the leader of the Catholic Church and was serving his 12th year.
He was born Jorge Mario Bergoglio in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1936 and elected pope in March 2013.
“At 7:35 this morning the Bishop of Rome, Francis, returned to the house of the Father.” The Cardinal added.
Pope Francis Cause of Death
Dr. Andrea Arcangeli, Director of the Directorate of Health and Hygiene of the Vatican City State issued the medical report on Monday indicating that the Pope’s cause of death was stroke, followed by a coma and irreversible cardiocirculatory collapse.
The Pope had a prior history of acute respiratory failure caused by multimicrobial bilateral pneumonia, multiple bronchiectases, high blood pressure, and Type II diabetes.
