KENYA – In a diplomatic reshuffle, William Ruto have made new ambassador and high commissioners’ appointments and reassignments in the latest diplomatic shake-up.
The list of the new appointments and reassignments is as summarized below:
Lucy Kiruthu who served as the Deputy Director General at the Foreign Office responsible for research and policy analysis will be Ambassador to Bangkok, Thailand – Replacing Lindsay Kiptiness Kimwole
Amb. Galma Mukhe Boru nominated to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Amb. Edwin Afande appointed to Vienna, Austria
Amb. Anthony Mwaniki Muchiri who served as the head of Public Service Commission appointed to Ankara, Turkey
Amb. Catherine Kirumba Karemu moved from UK to Tanzania
Amb. George Morara Orina – Dublin, Ireland
Amb. Maurice Odhiambo Makoloo moved from Austria to UK
Amb. Joseph Musyoka Masila – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Florence Chepngetich Bore – Windhoek, Namibia
Henry Wambuma – Bujumbura, Burundi
Abdirashid Salat Abdille – Jakarta, Indonesia
The nominated names will then undergo vetting by the National Assembly and upon approval, will undertake their designated posts.
The reshuffle have touched various regions, from Africa to Europe and Asia.
