Mass Shooting in Thailand Leaves 6 Dead

THAILAND – A mass shooting in Thailand’s capital on Monday left at least 6 people dead and two others injured when a shooter opened fire at Or Tor Kor Market.

The suspected shooter then committed suicide.

The suspect opened fire at Or Tor Kor Market in Bangkok’s Chatuchak district, killing 6 individuals before turning the gun on himself, the state broadcaster Thai PBS reported.

The victims included 4 security personnel and a market vendor.

Authorities have launched an investigation to ascertain the suspect’s motive.
