Israeli Attacks on the Gaza Strip Kills Over 58

PALESTINEIsraeli attacks on the Gaza Strip today (Thursday) have left at least 58 Palestinian civilians dead and dozens injured after Israeli forces launched airstrikes across the strip in the morning hours.

The Israeli army targeted a group of civilians waiting near a medical care site for food supplement delivery in Deir al-Balah, killing 17, most of them women and children, and seriously injuring others, a medical source said.

In the latest attack, 10 Palestinians were killed and several injured as Israeli forces struck Halima Al-Saadiya School in Jabalia in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, which was sheltering displaced people.

Three people lost their lives and several others were injured when fighter jets struck an apartment in western Gaza City, another medical source said.

Six people were killed and several others injured in two separate strikes in the same city.

Two people were killed and 19 injured in shelling by Israeli forces of the Al-Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City.

Separately, four people from the same family were killed in an Israeli strike targeting their home in the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Two Palestinians were also killed and 10 injured in Israeli drone strikes in the Nuseirat refugee camp.

In the southern Gaza Strip, the Israeli army killed five people, including two children, and injured 20 others in strikes on tents sheltering displaced Palestinians in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis.

A mother and three of her children were also killed when the Israeli army struck their home in Khan Younis. More than 20 people were injured in the same attack.
