ISRAEL – At least 2,517 Israelis have been reported injured in the Israel-Iran conflict as of today (Friday) as per the official data from the Israeli Health Ministry.
Observers, however, said the Israeli losses are higher than reported, given the strict censorship imposed by Tel Aviv on publishing any information related to the locations of Iranian missile impacts or their consequences, which suggests the figures are likely to rise.
The figures include 21 individuals in critical condition, 103 in moderate condition, 2,248 with minor injuries, and 107 suffering from panic attacks.
According to official data, hospitals admitted 54 new casualties overnight and Friday morning.
The Health Ministry added that most of those lightly injured were hurt while seeking shelter and required psychological assistance.
As of Friday morning, 132 people remain hospitalized, while 55 are still being treated in emergency rooms. The majority of earlier casualties have been discharged.
Hostilities broke out last Friday when Israel launched airstrikes on several sites across Iran, including military and nuclear facilities, prompting Tehran to launch retaliatory strikes.
Israeli authorities said at least 25 people have been killed and hundreds injured in Iranian missile attacks since then.
Meanwhile, in Iran, 639 people have been killed and more than 1,300 wounded in the Israeli assault, according to Iranian media reports.
