GREECE – At least 4 workers were on Monday killed, while a woman remained unaccounted for after Violanta food factory fire in Trikala city, Greece.
According to the local officials, the cause of the fire wasn’t immediately clear, despite local reports of an explosion.

At the time of the explosion, which occurred at around 4 am local time (0200GMT), 13 workers were on the shift, according to local reports.
3 bodies were found charred hours after the incident, with the death toll rising later to 4 as search and rescue operations continued.
Eight workers managed to escape and were taken to the nearby Trikala General Hospital.

Around 40 firefighters and 13 trucks were deployed.
The search for the missing woman continued as of reporting this.
