PALESTINE – Two Israeli army soldiers were injured in a stabbing attack in central West Bank on Tuesday, according to an army statement.
A military statement said that the army forces shot dead the individual who stabbed the Israeli soldiers during a search in the Ateret settlement, north of Ramallah.
Two soldiers were slightly injured, the public broadcaster KAN reported.
Monday evening, a female Israeli soldier was injured in a car-ramming attack near the Kiryat Arba settlement in Hebron, southern West Bank, according to the army.
The assailant was killed this morning in Hebron, the army said.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said on Tuesday that 17-year-old Muhannad Tariq Muhammad Al-Zaghir was killed by Israeli gunfire in Hebron at dawn, and his body was held by the army.
The Israeli forces raided and closed the entrances of Hebron city last night, following the attack.
